Fumitsugu Takedo: 100 Eyes Take Turns Sleeps : Archive #1: (signed)

$70.00

Handmade by signed, Tokyo, 2024
Artis Book Signed. Edition: 100
Dimensions: 8.27 x 5.83 inches
Color & B&W,  90 pages

This zine is a compilation of my work and documentation from Fumitsugu Takedo's solo exhibition, "100 Eyes Take Turns Sleeping," held in April 2024 at Gallery Room 412. It also includes a conversation from an Instagram Live talk with photographer Osamu Kanemura during the exhibition.

This publication is intended to provide an overview of the exhibition as well as showcase the photographic works of Fumitsugu Takedo. This edition includes an English translation of all the text and the transcript of the conversation with Osamu Kanemura.

Takedo Fumitsugu
Born in 1993, Okayama Prefecture

He photographs urban landscapes that adapt to the media environment. Through street photography, he captures fragmented landscapes and uses a technique of displaying images or his own photos on computer screens and then re-photographing them. This approach aims to recreate the visual experiences of contemporary people and reconsider the nature of real landscapes.
