(Limited edition of 3 books with a 3D model of Pinocchio puppet)
In my Virtual Reality project “Space is my first language” the Pinocchio figure stands in the middle of my home. This 3D printed figure was created from a Pinocchio puppet given by the puppetry theatre in Beijing. Reconstructed by 3D scanning and 3D printing, the puppet becomes fragmented and the colors are removed. In the process of digitizing and reconstructing, the replica shifts associations with the original figure and links my home in reality to the virtual world.
